Applied Nonlinear Regression 

I will include here the course syllabus, lecture notes, homeworks, homework solutions, etc. Most of these items will be available in Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) format. In addition, there will be S-PLUS and R scripts (these will have .SSC, .q or .R extensions, but will be plain text files), SAS files and output (.sas and .lst files, respectively - also plain text), and perhaps a few other miscellaneous file types. This page will be updated frequently throughout the term, so come back often to check for new material. Lecture Notes:

The following two files are zip files containing data sets from the National Institutes for Standards and Technology (NIST) and the Bates & Watts text that's on reserve (NRAIA), respectively. Each of these zip files expands into a directory structure that is set up in a way suitable for creating an R library. R is a "GNU" (free) version of S, the language on which S-PLUS is based. R code and S code is almost completely interchangeable, so these files and libraries should be usable with S-PLUS. At a minimum, you should be able to extract the data sets from these zip files.
