Myself
I am a Limited Term Assistant Professor at the mathematics department of The University of Georgia. I graduated in 2015 with a Ph. D. from Université du Quebec À Montréal in the Centre Interuniversitaire de Recherche en Géometrie et Topologie (CIRGET) group under the supervision of Prof. Steven Boyer.
I have completed my masters in mathematics at the University of Cape Town (Cape Town, South Africa). Before that I was at the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) (Cape Town, South Africa). I did my undergraduate studies at the University of Antananarivo, Madagascar.
Research
My research is in low dimensional topology: 3-manifolds topology, knot theory and smooth 4-manifolds. In particular, I am interested in problem related to Dehn surgeries, homology theories for 3-manifolds and links or knots and 3-manifolds character varieties. For the moment I am focused on cosmetic Dehn surgeries on arbitrary rational homology spheres and their relation to character variety.
