Jul. 30: Syllabus will be posted before the first day of class (Aug. 14). Course text will be:

- Linear Algebra and Its Applications (5th Edition) by David C. Lay, Steven R. Lay, Judi J. McDonald.

Sep. 9: Test 1 on Wed. Sep. 18 covers Sections 1.1-1.9. No formal proofs will be required. No calculators allowed!

Oct. 17: Office hour tomorrow (Fri. Oct. 18) changed to 11:00am-12:00pm.

Oct. 25: Test 2 on Wed. Oct. 30 covers Sections 1.10-3.3 except not 2.4, 2.6, or 2.7.

Dec. 4: The final exam covers Sections 1.1-6.5 **except** for: 2.4, 2.6, 2.7, 4.1-4.9, 5.7, 5.8.
